1st Shift Mechanic
Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance--changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment.
• Inspect and test defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, and pressure gauges.
• Communicate with customers effectively
• Attend weekly and monthly safety meetings.
• Troubleshoot and repair all makes of vehicles.
• Perform DOT inspections and floor repairs.
• Install body and roof patches.
• Repair overhead and swing doors.
• Lift gate repairs--hydraulic hose replacements and troubleshooting included.
• Suspension repairs-- replacing air bags, torque arms, and springs.
• Landing gear replacement and repair.
• Perform brake jobs and replace wheel seals.
• Repair lights and ABS systems.
Essential Skills
• Must be able to work without supervision.
-Completing tasks using handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, and pressure gauges.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
