About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for experienced Process Operators to join our Pampas site in West Footscray. In this role, you will perform in our production and slicing areas, which includes ensuring our production targets and compliance processes are met. With a core focus on the health & safety culture here at GoodmanFielder, this role will also require you to follow health and safety procedures whilst carrying out a variety of tasks in the production and slicing areas.
Opportunities currently exist for:
2 x Casual roles - availability required to work Monday to Friday both day and night shifts
You will be responsible for:
Operation of machinery and equipment as per safe operating proceduresExecutes start-up procedure and machine/equipment set ups, operational processes and cleaning processes correctly.
Ensure all Food Safety and Quality incidents are accurately reported and recorded within specified time frames.
Complete Quality Assurance and Food safety Induction and Competency quality assessment. Attend all relevant training programs.
Achieve AERR and Waste on target.
Active participationand attendance of weekly, monthly departmental meetings
To be successful in this role you will need to:
Effective verbal and written communication
Practiceand display Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Health and Safety standards
Quality awareness
Previous food industry experience or machine operation/process work is desirable
