Position Overview
Zelis Healthcare is excited to expand with a cutting-edge Production Facility in Tempe, AZ! This is your opportunity to join an incredible team of Production Associates from the start.

The Production Operators will be tasked with setting up, operating, and performing basic maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe, efficient work in line with job specifications and quality standards. You will monitor production outputs, troubleshoot issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and complete documentation on time. Adherence to all standard operating procedures, HIPAA, compliance, safety, and environmental guidelines is essential while collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Shifts Available:
• Day Shift - 6 am - 2 pm
• Evening Shift - 2 pm - 10 pm
Your Responsibilities:
• Set up equipment per specifications at the start of each job.
• Safely and efficiently operate the equipment.
• Identify when production output is not meeting specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Track time on each job if requested.
• Notify the Production Supervisor of any quality issues or spoilage.
• Follow all established procedures and policies closely.
• Assist post-production departments as needed to ensure shipping deadlines are met.
• Communicate effectively with your Production Supervisor.
• Foster positive relationships with co-workers and other team members.
• Work effectively as a team member to maximize process efficiency.
• Be cross-trained in all roles and responsibilities within the production facility.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent GED required (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years' experience in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and standard procedures.
• Basic computer skills are necessary (data entry, etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent bending and stooping.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from work is essential.
• Must maintain good attendance and be willing to work overtime as needed, particularly during busy seasons (Oct - Jan).
