Job Description
Lowrie Foods are looking for an additional driver to join our team. We deliver foods across the North of England, in a modern fleet of vehicles starting from 7.5 Tons.
We pick products, load the vehicles, then deliver meat, eggs and frozen foods across the area. You need to be hardworking, cheerful and honest. It’s physically demanding so you need to be able to handle that. Ideally you can drive a forklift, and will have done multi drop work before. If it was food work, so much the better. You will get a delivery area to cover, and we would usually have 20-30 drops per day.
We are paying £13.43 per hour for good drivers.
It’s a regular permanent position, with pension, overtime at higher rate and uniform. Its mostly 5 days per week, with occasional Saturday mornings.
