We're offering a flexible work environment with options for Hybrid or Remote schedules. If you're located near one of our offices, you'll be expected to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). For those who prefer a fully remote arrangement, you may work from home with occasional visits to the office as business needs dictate.
As an Absence Management Specialist, you will act as a key resource, engaging with both prospective and existing clients, as well as producers. Your expertise will cover a wide array of complex topics including FMLA, State Leave Laws, Salary Continuance, Statutory Disability, Paid Family and Medical Leave, Short-term and Long-term Disability, ADA, and various employer-sponsored leaves. You will consult actively with clients and internal teams to determine the best leave programs for non-complex Regional Accounts and all Priority Account clients while supporting pre- and post-sale activities during peak seasons.
Main Responsibilities:
• Document and facilitate leave management decisions, including coordination with disability and statutory claims for assigned clients.
• Address Ask an AMIC Help Requests submissions in Salesforce, providing support for inquiries and policy reviews.
• Participate in finalist presentations as needed.
• Coordinate transition services with clients and conduct thorough data reviews.
• Provide training on various leave management topics to prospects and producers.
• Assist in knowledge transfer discussions regarding customer-specific leave processes.
• Support user acceptance testing for absence/leave functions within THAA.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Absence Management.
• In-depth knowledge of leave management systems and laws.
• Understanding of disability benefits and services.
• Proven communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to present leave management services confidently to external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with absence/leave claims management in THAA.
• Strong adaptability to changing environments and market demands.
• Capable of developing strategic partnerships with internal and external teams.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and various administrative systems.
• Flexibility to manage a broad set of responsibilities, including a high caseload during peak times.
This position requires a minimum of 10% travel. Candidates must have high-speed broadband internet service for remote work, with specific performance requirements outlined.
Compensation: The annualized base pay range for this role is $63,600 - $95,400. Actual compensation may vary based on performance and other factors. Along with base pay, we offer additional rewards including bonuses and recognition programs.
