Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with teachers, department heads, and the head of school to develop and implement effective curriculum plans that align with educational standards and the school's vision.
2. Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, providing constructive feedback to teachers to enhance their performance.
3. Conduct regular meetings with teachers to discuss curriculum updates, instructional strategies, and student progress.
4. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in teaching methods and academic programs.
5. Assist in the selection of appropriate textbooks, educational resources, and technology tools to support teaching and learning.
6. Organize and coordinate professional development workshops and training sessions for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
7. Collaborate with the assessment team to design and implement effective evaluation and examination strategies.
8. Analyze academic data to identify trends, strengths, and areas needing improvement, and utilize this information to enhance teaching and learning strategies.
+. Liaise with parents to communicate academic goals, student progress, and strategies for improvement.
10. Ensure that the school's academic policies and procedures are effectively communicated and consistently implemented.
Qualifications:
1. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Education.
2. A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience with a proven track record of excellence.
3. Prior experience in an academic leadership role (e.g., Academic Coordinator, Head of Department) is preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional methodologies, and assessment techniques.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate teachers.
7. Analytical skills to interpret academic data and make informed decisions.
8. Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
