that this is a class-based role. The successful candidate will teach 25% of the teaching load of a full-time teacher. The Academic Coordinator oversees and coordinates various academic activities and programs within an educational institution.
Knowledge and Experience
: • Minimum 2-3 years experience as Academic Coordinator • Additional 4-5 years of teaching experience • Knowledge and experience in using ICT effectively in promoting student learning • Previous experience and knowledge of working with students for whom English is not their first language.
Leading Teaching, Learning, and Assessment
• Set a model of excellence in classroom practice • Liaise with colleagues across the school to ensure a smooth transition of pupils about curriculum provision • Track students progress, and monitor standards of learning and teaching to set realistic academic targets for pupils.
Academic Coordinators role
