Nursing Tutor
Help inspire and train the next generation of nurses
Taranaki based
Full-time (36 hours per week). Some flexibility of hours considered for the right applicant.
Fixed-term position until end of 2025
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Nurse to teach on our busy Nursing programme which includes the Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Enrolled Nursing and Competency Assessment Programme.
About you:
You will have
a passion for understanding and ensuring student success, including providing pastoral care and support for our ākonga (students)
excellent communication skills
recent clinical experience and be a registered nurse with a Nursing Council of New Zealand APC
a relevant postgraduate qualification or working towards a Level 8 qualification
Previous academic experience would be an advantage but is not required. We will fully support you if you don't have any prior teaching experience.
