Job Description
Tutor Doctor is looking for local tutors who will visit homes in Canberra/ACT and surrounds to provide one-on-one tutoring sessions. We provide tutoring for primary and secondary school students across Maths, English, Sciences, and other subjects. We work hard to ensure the right match between tutors and students, which leads to better outcomes for students and a fun, rewarding work environment for our tutors. Requirements:
* Must live in Canberra ACT and environs
* Must have excellent English and communication skills
* Must have a passion for teaching and making a difference in your student's life
* Must have a strong knowledge of your chosen subject (ACT Curriculum)
* Must be reliable, punctual and organised
* Must have own transport and be prepared to travel to students' homes
* Must have a Working with Vulnerable People Check (or be prepared to obtain the Certificate)
* Must be legally eligible to work in Australia
Responsibilities:
* Prepare plan and implement the appropriate course of study for the assigned student
* Schedule and confirm lessons with parents
* Submit a brief session report after each session
* Ask for help from our staff if required
