• Job Title: Account Assistant
• Location: Ahmedabad, Kheda
• Department: Finance
• Reports to: Accountant / Finance Manager
• Job Overview:
• Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation.
- Monitor and track company expenses to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases.
- Perform regular filing, archiving, and organization of financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation for audits and provide required documentation.
- Respond to queries from internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding invoices and payments.
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as needed.
• Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an account assistant or in a similar role (preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Additional Information:
- This position may require occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
- On-the-job training will be provided for specific software and internal procedures.
