Poggenpohl Group UK Ltd is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant, to provide support to the Financial Controller.
As the inventor of the modern kitchen, Poggenpohl sustainably combines architectural concepts and applications with trend-setting design, superb craftsmanship and technical precision. Founded in 1+82, the small cabinet maker’s shop has evolved into the leading brand for German-made luxury kitchen architecture.
The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated individual who has the ability to work independently using their own initiative. You should have excellent attention to detail & excel spreadsheet experience is essential.
You will be covering all aspects of the day-to-day accounts reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Your key responsibilities will include:
Purchase ledger (in conjunction with part time support already in place)
· Inputting invoices into accounts software / CRM system
· Dealing with supplier queries
· Supplier statement reconciliations
· Weekly payment run by bacs
Sales ledger
· Sales invoicing, retail and contract
· Credit control
· Preparing ad-hoc sales invoices
· Managing IRP (Dealer) invoice processing and credit control
Accounts assistance
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· Bank reconciliations
· Preparing CIS deduction statements & records for review & submission
· Weekly cash and sales reporting
· Assisting with month end processing & reporting
· Processing employees’ business expense claims
· VAT return preparation
· Other ad hoc duties
Experience of SAP would be preferable, but not essential for the right candidate.
