Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyse each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
· Oversee plant operations such as budget, production schedule and stock/ Responsible for overall Plant Operation
· Maintain clean and safe workplace- To maintain hygiene round for the entire facility along with checklist.
· Analyse production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvements
· Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies
· Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources
· Meeting with labour contractor or direct labour
· Maintaining a minimum stock level coordination will all department for the planning of materials
· All legal matters of Vinland site and other new site development, necessary paper work, permission from MIDC, FSSAI renewal, excise etc.
· To ensure all the winery development work is following the planned timeline
· Ensure the firefighting systems in premises, address all the health related affaires at the winery, provide safety gears to the workers and staff.
· Time keeping of Employees & labour
· Maintain and look after Excise books, documents and renewal on time, Up to date documentation for all legal matters.
· Maintenance of all winery machinery with consistent follow-up and update and arrangement for rented equipment when required.
· To resolve all the local issues related to winery, including labour management and negotiation in wages. Arrange labour as and when require for winery and dispatch activity.
· Ensure ETP and STP are maintained and operational
· Make available all the resources required for the development and progress of winery
· Updates and reports on daily basis.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in any field
· 5+ years of experience in field
· Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations Strong communication, management and supervisory skills
