Accounts Receivable Executive – Solar Industry
Role Overview
The Accounts Receivable Executive will be responsible for managing customer invoicing, collections, and reconciliation processes for solar projects (rooftop C&I and ground-mount). This role ensures healthy cash flow, accurate financial records, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Invoicing
Prepare and issue invoices for solar projects, products, and services.
Ensure accuracy of billing details as per contracts and purchase orders.
Track milestone-based billing for EPC/installation projects.
Collections & Follow-up
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for timely payments.
Maintain strong client relationships to resolve payment disputes.
Escalate overdue accounts and support recovery actions.
Reconciliation & Reporting
Record receipts and reconcile customer accounts.
Prepare AR aging reports and highlight risks to management.
Support monthly closing activities and audit requirements.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, and contracts.
Coordinate with finance and project teams for accurate records.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in solar/renewable energy or EPC industry.
Strong knowledge of invoicing, collections, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software (Tally/ERP), and reporting tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical ability.
