Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a person experienced in the accounts and finance role, willing to work in our head office in north Bangalore. The following will be the main roles and responsibilities (but not limited to) :
• Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, and financial procedures.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data.
• Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state and federal tax returns.
• Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.
• Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, Cash Flow, and overhead cost allocation.
• Prepare Budgeted vs Actual Expenses variance report with cost centre allocation and analysis of the same for management.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Establish and optimise finance operational strategies and ensure best business practices to reduce business risk and meet the overall objectives
• Lead accurate and timely preparation of financial forecasting, budgets, taxation, audits, documentations, business contracts
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 8-10 years of total accounting experience
• Previous construction company Accounting experience preferred
