Work Mode - WFO Job Description: To oversee and manage the comprehensive financial functions of the company, drawing from the in-depth knowledge and expertise gained from the Chartered Accountant qualification.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy and Management:
• Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; conferring with company's leadership.
• Supervise all financial operations, ensuring the transparency, accuracy, and compliance of all
transactions.
2. Audit & Compliance:
• Lead and ensure timely annual audits, interfacing with external auditors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, leveraging the CA expertise.
3. Taxation:
• Provide expert advice on taxation matters, ensuring timely filing and compliance.
• Oversee accurate and appropriate tax deductions at source and periodic reconciliations.
4. Financial Reporting:
• Prepare detailed financial reports, drawing upon CA expertise to ensure the utmost accuracy and clarity.
• Analyse financial data and derive insights to inform company strategy.
5. Internal Controls:
• Use CA knowledge to build robust internal controls and financial processes, ensuring company's
protection against frauds and errors.
• Periodically review and improve control systems to meet evolving business needs and challenges.
6. Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounts teams, fostering a culture of excellence and
continuous learning.
• Liaise with other department heads to ensure the integration of financial strategy with overall company
objectives.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders concerning financial inquiries and reporting.
• Regularly present financial summaries and business insights to the board and executive committee.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with membership in the relevant national CA institute.
2. Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
3. Strong expertise in auditing, taxation, and complex financial reporting.
4. Proficiency with advanced financial software and tools.
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Strong ethics, with a demonstrated ability to manage confidential data
