Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our finance team. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in various accounting tasks and processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in accounting and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments
2. Support the reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
3. Assist in the processing of financial transactions, including data entry and coding
4. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions into the accounting software
5. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements under the guidance of senior team members
6. Participate in inventory tracking and analysis, ensuring accurate recording of stock movements
7. Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
8. Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.

10. Help with month-end and year-end closing processes.
11. Participate in special projects and assignments as directed by supervisors.
12. Learn and apply accounting principles and best practices in a real-world setting.
13. Contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency within the accounting function.
14. Actively engage in training sessions and learning opportunities to enhance accounting knowledge
Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
8. Enthusiastic about learning and applying new skills in a professional setting.
+. Prior internship or work experience in accounting is a plus.
10. Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
Mode of internship – Work From Office (full-time)
Stipend – 5,000 onwards (Performance based)
