About The Role:
As Australia’s leading reo provider, ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) is growing its market presence and is seeking a energetic and results-focused Business Development Manager to join the team.

This is a high-impact, field-based role where you’ll drive residential sales growth across NSW by winning new business, growing key accounts, and building strong, long-term customer relationships.

You’ll own a large and strategic territory, working closely with Area Managers and reporting directly to the Regional Manager to deliver results. Success in this role comes from being out in the market—meeting customers, spotting opportunities, and turning them into consistent revenue.

If you’re someone who enjoys to hunt for new sales opportunities being on the road, thrives on momentum, and knows how to turn a pipeline into performance, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing:

Driving sales growth through proactive customer engagement and conversion
Building strong, lasting relationships and becoming a trusted customer partner
Identifying and winning new business, projects, and tender opportunities
Managing a healthy pipeline with clear plans to convert opportunities
Staying active in the field with a disciplined and consistent call cycle
Preparing competitive quotes and following through to secure orders
Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities
Working closely with internal teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
Using CRM (ideally Sugar) to track activity, pipeline, and performance

You’re a motivated and commercially savvy sales professional who knows how to win business and grow relationships. You bring energy to everything you do, enjoy being in front of customers, and take ownership of your results.

You’re confident, proactive, and know how to balance strategy with execution—whether it’s opening new doors or strengthening existing partnerships.

What you’ll bring:

Proven experience (5+ years) in Business Development or Sales, ideally in a related industry
A strong track record of winning new business and growing accounts
Confidence in building relationships and influencing customer decisions
Solid commercial acumen, including pricing and negotiation skills
Experience managing pipelines and consistently hitting sales targets
A proactive, self-driven approach with a strong results focus
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
CRM experience and a structured approach to managing sales activity
A team-first mindset with a commitment to safety and high performance
