Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Manager to join our finance team. The Accounts Manager will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Maintain records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor performance against budget and provide regular reports on financial performance to aid decision-making.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes. Coordinate with external tax consultants as necessary.
• Audit Preparation: Prepare financial documentation and assist in the annual audit process. Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Cash Management: Manage cash flow and optimize working capital. Monitor accounts receivable and payable, implement cash management strategies, and ensure adequate liquidity.
• Financial Controls: Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, including accountants and financial analysts.
• Vendor and Supplier Management: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage vendor payments and negotiations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact effectively with cross-functional departments.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.
