About Our Accounting and Taxation Practice

Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in business services and possess excellent communication and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journals, ledgers, and other accounting documents.
Prepare work papers and accounts to compile Business Activity Statements (BAS) and lodge them with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for various entity types, including sole traders, partnerships, companies, trusts, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs).
Verify and maintain financial records to ensure compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
Liaise with government institutions, including the ATO, ASIC, and OSR.
Assist with preparing taxation returns for individuals and organizations.
Provide financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans, and operations under the supervision of our Principal.
Requirements
Accounting degree from an Australian tertiary institution.
Minimum 2+ years' experience in an Australian professional practice, with expertise in individual tax returns, BAS, and corporate financial statements.
Familiarity with cloud accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero Business, Xero Tax, BGL, and MYOB.
CPA/CA qualification or towards CPA/CA qualification preferred.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Able to work independently.
Bilingual in Chinese preferred.
