Your future role on our team
You’ll be supervised by the chief accountant and will perform a range of tasks for our Finance and Accounting department. Your responsibilities will include month-end processes, various monthly and quarterly analyses, budget variance reviews and other related duties.

Carry out month-end accounting, mainly:
Posting various journal entries in the ERP system for payroll expenses, accounts receivable, accruals, bank loans and finance leases
Performing account analyses, reconciling the general ledger (GL) and updating debt and fixed asset continuity schedules
Reconciling and eliminating cross-company transactions
Preparing and producing month-end reports
Helping prepare the consolidated financial statements
Conduct several monthly management analyses, mainly of salaries and other expenses, hours and productivity as well as budget variances
Perform ad hoc analyses for managers
Produce quarterly management analyses for executive committees
Support the year-end external audit
Participate in the annual budgeting cycle

Summary of certifications and job requirements
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, with corporate accounting experience (not necessarily in auditing)
Three to five years of experience managing the full accounting cycle
Experience working in a professional services firm and in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Advanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients outside Québec. The frequency of English use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoing projects
Asset: knowledge of the Maconomy ERP system
