Job Title: Experienced Accountant with Proficiency in Tally, GST, and TDS
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in Tally, GST, and TDS to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in using Tally software for bookkeeping, as well as a thorough understanding of GST and TDS regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts, and reconciling bank statements.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial information.
• Perform regular audits to ensure financial data integrity and identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
• Prepare and file tax returns, including GST and TDS, in compliance with applicable regulations and deadlines.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, GST rates, and TDS regulations to ensure compliance and make necessary adjustments to accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial data and insights for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide support during external audits and coordinate with auditors to provide requested documentation and information.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff on Tally software usage, accounting processes, and tax compliance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant with expertise in Tally, GST, and TDS.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using Tally software for bookkeeping, data entry, and financial reporting.
• In-depth understanding of GST regulations, including filing returns, input tax credit, and e-way bill generation.
• Familiarity with TDS regulations, including TDS deduction, filing returns, and issuing TDS certificates.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
