Job Description - Accountant
Role Overview
Passing Inter-company Transactions
Segregating Vendor Invoices Country Wise
Data Entry of Purchase Transaction into Tally across all countries of operations
Data Entry of Invoices in Tally from Zoho Books across all countries of operations
Data Entry of all Payment Transactions in Tally from Bank Statements.
Data Entry of all Receipt Transactions in Tally from Bank Statements.
Managing Vendor Payments
Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements.
Ensuring all Transactions in Bank Statements are not left Unmarked.
Passing of Rectification Entry
Keeping Supporting documents for all transactions
Auditing & Reconciliation of Credit Card Statements, Paypal, Paytabs, Checkouts
Data Entry & Reconciliation of Petty Cash Transactions for all Countries
Handling end to end accounting transactions on & Tally
Passing of all Journal Entries in the Books of Accounts regularly
Co-ordinating with VAT Consultants & Keeping ready all documents for VAT Filing.
Preparing Monthly Expense Summary for Comparison
Passing entries for Depreciation
Assisting in the preparation of Monthly Profitability Reports (Country Wise & Consolidated)
Assisting in Preparation of Annual Financial Statements (Country Wise & Consolidated)
Assisting in Final Audit & Tax Return Filing Country-wise
Preparation of Deferred Revenue & Deferred Cost Calculation.
Ensuring Books of Accounts are up to date.
Ensuring all Payments & Receipts for the respective year are accounted for.
Preparing Outstanding & Prepaid Expenses Report
Reconciling Customer Ledger
Reconciling Vendor Ledger
VAT Filing, Reporting & Other Related Activities
Assisting in reports required for Assessment Requirements
Preparation of SOP for Accounting Department
Role Overview - Audit & Other Activities
Audit all Vendor Invoices against the Customer Invoices for Accuracy
Keep track and manage Renewals for Customers along with the Renewals Team
Assisting the Management with Operational Tasks
Other activities assigned by the Management
Manage Customer Subscription Renewals & Follow Ups
Audit Subscriptions maintained on System for Accuracy
Audit Accuracy of Deals Registered on the CRM with Supporting Documents & Payment Track
Review & Monitor Progress of Projects, Support Tickets & Renewal Activities
Review & Monitor Leave & Daily Working Activities
Brief Overview of Requirements from the Candidate
Highly proficient in using Tally
Highly proficient in using Excel (Formulas, Tables, Reports, Macros along with other advanced features)
Ability to use Smart & Efficient methods in order to deliver tasks & assigned activities in addition to the role.
Minimum 4 years of experience in handling Accounts Related activities.
Previous Gulf Experience will be an added advantage.
Experience in working with a Software Company will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Zoho Books & Google Sheets will be an added advantage
Fluency in English is Mandatory (Reading, Writing & Speaking
