Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.
Male and IT Industry (Trading Company) are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and manage all ledgers and accounting processes.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and prepare tax filings promptly, including GST and inter-state commerce considerations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing detailed company budgets and perform financial forecasting to support business planning.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews to ensure compliance with all financial laws and regulations.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct regular cost analyses and provide actionable insights to optimize profitability.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow management, ensuring sufficient funds for company operations and financial stability.
- Inventory Management: Reconcile inventory accounts to the general ledger, participate in inventory counts, and ensure accuracy in records.
- Financial Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for financial institutions and manage day-to-day banking relationships.
- Advisory Role: Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company (i.e., evaluation of potential alliances, suppliers, and customers).
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within a company involved in trading activities.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and an ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Knowledge of tax laws, GST and GAAP.
