We are an international oilfield services company with multiple plants globally currently esatblished our new plant in near Changodhar, Ahmedabad, Gujrat. We are looking for an Accountant for our new plant in India. Role Description • This is a full-time on-site role for a Accountant. • The Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including maintaining financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance. • The Accountant will also be responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and taxation. • Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management • Ensure timely filing of TDS & GST • Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements • Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.) • Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities • Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per company guidelines • Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required • Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal • Assist in new processes and system implementation when required Qualifications • Proficient in accounting software: Tally or Quickbooks • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures • Experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and taxation • Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of manufacturing industry accounting practices is a plus • Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word • A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
