Job Description
We are working with a Northallerton based client who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their busy team.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting the Finance Business Partner in maintaining financial control for all business segments
• Production of management accounts and budgets
• Work closely with the HWRC Administrator to ensure timely processing of transactions; charges and rebates
• Production of any financial reporting as/when required
• Make sure balance sheet controls are monitored and maintained, and support is provided for key elements
• Support of the production of Year End and auditor information
Ideally you will have:
• Current progression with AAT and/or actively wanting to progress this to a professional accountancy qualification. If AAT is already passed, actively studying towards CIMA, ACA or ACCA would be an advantage.
• Great knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including advanced level Excel.
• Knowledge of Financial Operations.
• Understanding of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Knowledge of a modern financial system, such as Sage 200.
• High numeracy skill level and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to evaluating numbers and ensuring they reflect reality.
