Current Media Group (CMG) is a collection of direct mail and online brands offering products direct to consumer. We are well-known for products ranging from fun and trendy gifts to stationery and personalized gifts. Many of our unique and creative cards and gifts are designed and manufactured at our Colorado Springs, CO location.
We are looking for a strong Accountant with inventory, balance sheet/income statements and other various accounting skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Compile and record inventory and valuation monthly, quarterly and at year end.
• Compile and process quarterly royalty statements and payments to A/P.
• Make recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, fixed assets and expenditures.
• Analyze and project income statements/balance sheets and various other accounting statements and reports.
• Analyze financial records and complete reconciliations of financial components such as Inventory, A/R, A/P, cashflow and general ledgers for month-end close process.
• Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare, review and verify journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
• Coordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Possess high level of Excel skills, with the ability to work with multiple complex spreadsheets, pivot tables and data analysis.
• Accounting or Finance Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related/relevant professional experience.
• Possess and apply a broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Manufacturing experience and Cost Accounting a plus.
• Proficient with ERP systems.
• Pay Range: $50,000 to $65,000
