Work closely with service providers and team members to assist with the month-end close

Supervise external tax advisors and manage tax returns, K-1’s, 10++’s, etc. for a complex portfolio of entities
Maintain and manage relationships with external service providers
Contribute to the Treasury Management of the Firm, including cash management, investments tracking, borrower funding and remittances, etc

A government contract financing employer is looking for an Accounting Associate to join their team locally in Huntington Beach and assist the finance team with various accounting functions.
The role's responsibilities include:
• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Work closely with service providers and team members to assist with the month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including support for the financial statements and related footnote disclosures
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management
