Responsibilities
Assist the Finance Manager on month-end close and reconciliation activities
Assist the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead on management reporting and coordination of budgets/forecast
Support compliance activities such as statutory audits and tax-related returns/calculations
Assist the Finance Manager on training and supervising other accountants
To be successful in this role you will have:
significant experience with current accounting practices including month-end accruals and reconciliation
ability to manage complex international accounting utilising multiple currencies and trial balances
significant experience in management reporting and forecasting/budgeting
exposure to Australian FBT and Tax rules for employment arrangements
experience in a project accounting environment including revenue recognition principles (desirable)
tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Finance, Commercial etc) along with CA or CPA certification
