job title: accounts manager (accountant) location: mumbai, india experience: 2+ years company: skygoal sports private limited (tennis premier league) timings: 12-3 pm or 3-6 pm (monday to saturday work from office) job summary tennis premier league (tpl) is indias biggest tennis league, bringing together top talent, franchise teams, and an engaging sports entertainment experience. we are expanding our team and looking for a skilled accounts manager (accountant) to handle financial operations and ensure smooth financial management within the league and app. job responsibilities manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements. prepare financial statements, tax filings, and compliance reports as per statutory requirements. assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense management. process invoices, payments, vendor reconciliations, and employee reimbursements. coordinate with external auditors for audits and financial reviews. ensure compliance with gst, tds, and other regulatory financial requirements. support financial planning, sponsorship revenue tracking, and cost management for tpl related events. work closely with the operations and marketing teams to track budgets and financial efficiency. monitor and maintain an accurate record of office inventory related to tpl and tpl app. coordinate with relevant teams and stakeholders to ensure timely payments for both tpl and tpl app. qualifications and skills bachelor's or masters degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in accounting. proficiency in accounting software. strong knowledge of gst, tds, and other financial compliance regulations. excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
