Client Relations Specialist with Accounting Office Experience
Tracey & Tracey CPAs is seeking a client relations specialist with tax preparation experience to assist firm accountants. This role involves handling a variety of tasks related to reception duties, customer service, and administrative support, as well as aiding with tax document preparation. We are looking for a candidate who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serving as a liaison between the client and the firm, answering questions, and addressing routine concerns
Answering phones and taking detailed messages
Maintaining accurate records regarding client communication
Receiving and appropriately handling sensitive personal information from clients
Assisting clients with onboarding, including document collection and initial account setup
Communicating with clients both by phone and through email
Collecting client feedback to improve services
Providing status updates about ongoing projects, such as tax filings or bookkeeping
Scheduling meetings between clients and accountants or other specialists as needed
Assisting firm accountants with tax preparation and completion
Communicating the results of tax returns to clients
Preparation of tax packets to be sent/ provided to clients
Bookkeeping knowledge and experience is a plus
Requirements for this position:
Strong interpersonal and customer service knowledge
Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in office tasks, including but not limited to client interactions and communication, scheduling, and record-keeping
Flexibility and adaptability to client and firm needs
Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism while doing so
Ability to communicate information to clients in clear, friendly, and knowledgeable terms
Technological proficiency and comfort navigating digital tools and platforms, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Google Applications, etc.
Knowledge of Onvio is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
