Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in NetSuite or equivalent financial software
Strong understanding of accounting theory and GAAP
Experience with SEC filings and regulations
Highly skilled in cost accounting
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company's financial health and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
The role will involve a broad range of tasks including financial reporting, auditing, budgeting, and financial analysis
You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the use of financial software, specifically NetSuite, and have a solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Report analysis and findings to management team
Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
Prepare and file tax returns
Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Manage all aspects of cost accounting
Collaborate with external auditors when needed
