Job Description
As an Accountant for our esteemed Chartered Accountant (CA) Firm, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive accounting and financial support to the firm and its clients. You will be an integral part of the accounting team, assisting in maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Accurately record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries using appropriate accounting software.
Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
Bookkeeping and Reconciliation: Maintain organized and up-to-date books of accounts, reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Tax Compliance: Assist in tax preparation, including computation and filing of income tax returns, GST returns, and other tax-related forms, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Audit Assistance: Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation, assisting in the compilation of audit findings, and implementing recommendations for process improvements.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to identify financial performance indicators and provide insights to the firm and its clients.
Client Communication: Communicate with clients regarding accounting queries, financial reporting, and compliance requirements, maintaining professional and timely communication to ensure client satisfaction.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Stay updated with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide guidance to clients on relevant financial matters.
Software and Systems: Utilize accounting software and other financial tools effectively, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry, report generation, and analysis.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the accounting team, providing assistance and support as required, and actively contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CA Inter is highly preferred.
Previous experience working in an accounting role, preferably in a CA firm or public accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools including Tally.ERP+, Busy, KDK Spectrum, Income Tax utilities, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
Good communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.

Salary: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
