We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated entry-level Accountant to join our team in FEDERAL WAY, Washington, United States. This role is based in the accounting industry and requires adeptness in managing accounting software systems, enterprise resource planning, and other related duties. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications as part of a larger responsibility to maintain financial records.
• Manage and maintain customer credit records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to ensure they are in good standing.
• Take appropriate and timely action to collect delinquent payments to maintain company financial health.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Acomba for efficient financial management.
• Apply CL Programming skills in various accounting tasks as needed.
• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to streamline and integrate business processes.
• Use IBM AS/400 and About Time software as part of daily tasks.
• Carry out regular accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Process checks accurately and efficiently to maintain financial integrity.
• Possess strong knowledge in Accounting Software Systems
• Proficiency in using Acomba software for managing accounting tasks
• Familiarity with Cl Programming
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business processes
• Experience with IBM AS/400 system operations
• Proficiency in using About Time software for effective time tracking and management
• Knowledge of accounting functions including maintaining ledgers, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing and vendor communication
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and customer communication
• Experience in Check Processing, including printing, signing, and distributing checks.
