About the Role
We are hiring an Accountant to be an integral part of the Sales & Accounts Team for our new RMC Plant in Faridabad (Haryana). The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing day-to-day financial reports, statements, sales invoices, engaging with both vendors & customers, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess strong business acumen.
Responsibilities
• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
• Prepare tax documents
• Compile and analyze financial statements
• Promptly making and recording sales invoices/bills (through provided software) of different customers for different products.
• Act as the key point of contact and support for our Direct and Indirect taxation matters and Liaise with tax authorities on various Direct and Indirect tax matters
• Serve as subject matter /accounting expert for all payable functions (both vendor/employee payments)
• Maintaining a track record of salaries of all employees
• Maintaining a track record of all machinery/construction equipments of the company with their day-to-day diesel consumption, etc. as reported by the plant manager.
• Coordinating with teams to provide the required data to statutory auditors/group auditors and working towards timely closure of audit
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 2+ years of Experience
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to effectively interact with internal/external customers and work well within a collaborative team environment
• Experience of working in the Construction Industry/environment is a plus
• Outgoing personality with decent verbal & written English communication skills, commitment to achieving results
• Should be proactive to learn new skills
