We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant proficient in Tally, GST, tax return filing, and TDS management to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally software.
GST Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate GST filings, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.
Tax Return Filing: Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
TDS Management: Monitor and manage Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance, including deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
Financial Analysis: Assist in the analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor queries.
Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated with changes in tax laws, GST regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for timely receipt of invoices and ensure compliance with TDS provisions.
Client Communication: Interact with clients to address queries related to taxation, accounting, and financial reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably with expertise in Tally, GST, tax return filing, and TDS management.
Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws, including Income Tax Act, GST Act, and TDS provisions.
Proficiency in Tally ERP software and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications such as CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent will be a plus.
