Job Title:
Finance Accountant
Company Overview: A product innovation company creating kickass robots in the technology education space.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Accountant to join our finance team. The Finance Accountant will play a key role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Monthly salary processing by co-ordinating with teams for the same
Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Assist with audits and tax filings.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is a plus.
Proven work experience as a Finance Accountant or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with financial reporting softwares.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
