Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all institutional, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
• Compile, analyze, and report financial data accurately.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including Statements of Financial Position, Statements of Activities, and Cash Flow statements, and develop program modeling analytical reports.
• Understand and manage nonprofit accounting, including endowments, restricted investments, and gifts-in-kind.
• Present financial data to managers, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary footnotes.
• Compute and manage taxes.
• Stay informed about current legislation related to finance and accounting.
• Support management in decision-making by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in communication and computer usage.
• Solid understanding of mathematics, accounting principles, and financial processes.
• Knowledge of database management.
• Demonstrated ethical behavior and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
