BS/BA in Accounting or Finance from an accredited University required
5-10 years general accounting experience, in multi-national manufacturing setting
Monthly closing process management and account reconciliations
Audit support experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Highest standards of accuracy and precision
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
Solid work ethic
Be well organized, detail oriented, flexible, and able to handle multiple assignments with minimal direct supervision
Have the ability to work with sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Be a team player
Be able to manage work deadlines
Master's degree
Manufacturing experience in multi-national manufacturing setting
Experience of having developed and maintained Management Reports

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for all accounting functions for the US entity of Meyer Burger's global operations
This includes monthly closing, account reconciliations, AR, AP, intercompany invoicing, and other functions are supported
Monthly GL accounting close process to include IC invoice and account reconciliations
Responsible for the preparation and consolidation of the Monthly, Quarterly & Annual budget and forecasting
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Monthly actuals reporting to parent company
Reporting and general issue support for US-based sister companies
Sales detail reporting and backlog by product line and customer
Inventory management, obsolescence reserve tracking, and account reconciliation
Fixed Asset management and Capital Expense tracking
Key Performance Indicators: Backlog, SAP production stats
Lease Accounting
Cash management, including working capital, cash collections, vendor payments and payroll
Audit oversight
Financial policies review and management
Performs other related duties as assigned

The Role

Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities):
• Monthly GL accounting close process to include IC invoice and account reconciliations.
• Responsible for the preparation and consolidation of the Monthly, Quarterly & Annual budget and forecasting.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Monthly actuals reporting to parent company.
• Reporting and general issue support for US-based sister companies.
• Sales detail reporting and backlog by product line and customer.
• Inventory management, obsolescence reserve tracking, and account reconciliation.
• Fixed Asset management and Capital Expense tracking.
• Key Performance Indicators: Backlog, SAP production stats.

You bring:
• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance from an accredited University required.
• 5-10 years general accounting experience, in multi-national manufacturing setting.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP strongly preferred.
• SAP accounting experience preferred.
• Monthly closing process management and account reconciliations.
• Audit support experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision.
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
