We are hiring for an Accountant.
Job Location: Gurgaon
Work Experience: Atleast 2 years of experience
Location: Gurgaon (WFO)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (2 Working Saturday per month)
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting and Recordkeeping:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and review financial transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Compliance Management:
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate and prepare documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Regulatory and Tax Compliance:
• Prepare and file required tax documents and ensure timely payment of taxes.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
• Internal Controls and Procedures:
• Develop and implement procedures to enhance compliance and efficiency in financial operations.
• Conduct periodic internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with established controls.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance-related issues and provide financial guidance.
• Communicate effectively with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting with a focus on compliance and regulatory matters.
• Experience working in a CA firm is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
