The ideal candidate will have a solid background in bookkeeping and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities As a Consulting Bookkeeper, you will:
1.
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including managing accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, and general ledger entries.
2.
Implement and maintain accurate financial records.
3.
Utilize Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT for financial management and reporting.
4.
Prepare financial statements and reports, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
5.
Provide consulting services to clients, advising on best practices in financial management, budgeting, and financial planning.
6.
Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
7.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
8.
Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and reviews.

Provide support to the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:
1.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
2.
Proven experience with account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger.
3.
Proficiency in Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT is a plus, any major ERP is okay.
4.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
5.
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
6.
Superior time management and organizational skills.
7.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
