About the Internship:

Key responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all business entities within the family business
2. Bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliation, and financial transaction recording
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and payments
4. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure consistency between financial records and bank transactions
5. Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial statements, reports, and summaries to provide insights into the company's financial performance
6. Tax Compliance: Assist in tax preparation and compliance, including GST, TDS, and other applicable tax filings
7. Budget Management: Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring that financial goals are met
8. Audit Support: Prepare financial documents and provide support during internal and external audits

10. Documentation: Maintain organized financial documents and records for easy retrieval and reference
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a similar family business or industry.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
