Position: Accountant
Location: Pune
Experience: 2- 4 Years
Shift Timings: 2:00 PM-11:00 PM IST (Cabs will be provided)
We at Stratacent are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we're compliant with all tax regulations.
Responsibilities: -
• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual book closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
• Has sufficient Knowledge of Indirect Tax and GST.
• Filing GST Refunds.
• Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
• Bringing the books to the trial balance stage.
• Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting, and financial regulations.
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintaining TDS.
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Liaison closely with Finance manager and Company's CA.
Requirement and Qualifications:
• Work experience as an Accountant.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in tax, accounting, or finance.
• Strong excel skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally ERP.
• Experience with general ledger functions.
• Prompt with attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
