Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join Shree Agencies, a well-established furniture retail store . The ideal candidate should have robust experience in accounting practices, specifically within the retail sector, and possess expertise in IT return preparation and GSTR filing.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file GST returns accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle IT return preparation and compliance.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants as required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant in a retail setting.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with GST filing and IT return preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
