Job Description:
As an Accountant at RMS Stonex, you will be responsible for managing financial records, billing, stock maintenance, and ensuring accuracy in all accounting transactions. Your role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our business and contributing to our ongoing growth and success in the marble industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accounting & Financial Management: Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation.
• Billing: Prepare and issue invoices, monitor payments, and maintain accurate billing records.
• Stock Maintenance: Track and maintain stock of marble and related products, ensuring accurate records of inventory and purchases.
• Taxation & Compliance: Assist in GST filings and tax-related work to ensure company compliance with legal regulations.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
• Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Supplier & Client Relations: Maintain strong communication with suppliers and clients regarding payments, invoices, and account queries.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, billing, and stock maintenance, specifically in the marble industry.
Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Excel, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Personal Attributes: Honest, hardworking, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
