We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, taxation laws, and regulatory compliance in India.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage TDS, GST returns, and other statutory compliances
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare payroll and manage employee reimbursements
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
• Liaise with banks, vendors, and statutory authorities
• Ensure timely filing of Income Tax, ROC, and other compliance returns
• Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com); CA Inter, CMA Inter, or semi-qualified CA preferred
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance
• Proficiency in Tally ERP or Zoho Books or QuickBooks, or other accounting software. Preferred Zoho Books
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in handling audits and financial due diligence
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Exposure to international accounting standards (IFRS) is a plus
