Responsibilities / Working area:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is part of the Accounts Payable team in India.
Within this team the Accounts Payable Specialist s responsibilities are:
• Review and verify invoices
• Set up vendors
• Code invoices
• Enter and upload invoices into system
• Review and match invoices with purchase orders
• Upload payment files out of ERP system in online banking tool
• Post transactions to journals and ledgers
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Follow up on invoice approvals and receiving of goods/services
• Maintain vendor files
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Assist with month end closing
Who are you?:
Requirements:
• Accounting experience mandatory
• Educational level: Some post-high school education required
• 2-5 years of Accounts Payable position and working experience in Accounts Payable
• Knowledge of accounts payable
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Good knowledge of English (write and speak)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility and team spirit
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
