Job Description
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in tally, ITD, and GST, and will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
The successful candidate will be organized, detail oriented, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate should be familiar with accounting software and have a strong understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, Including recording financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure compliance with GST regulations.
• Handle income tax return filing and other tax related activities, including TDS deductions and payments.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain documentation and records in compliance with company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for audits and other regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and guide management as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of tally, ITD, and GST.
• Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Good understanding of Indian tax laws, including the Income Tax Act, GST Act, and TDS provisions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Knowledge of insolvency and bankruptcy laws will be an added advantage.
