Location: Okhla, New Delhi | Mon-Fri, in-office role
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team. As an Accounts Officer, you will manage various financial and accounting tasks, utilize Zoho accounting software and demonstrate expertise in finance, bookkeeping, and Management Information Systems (MIS). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, possess excellent organization and communication skills, and be proficient in Zoho or eager to learn it quickly.

Here’s what we would expect you to do:
• Utilize Zoho accounting software to perform accounting tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain and update accounts receivable records, ensuring invoices are issued promptly and accurately.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure accurate records and efficient inventory management.
• Effectively handle customer data management, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
• Conduct payroll management activities, including calculating payroll taxes, managing employee deductions, and timely payroll processing.
• Prepare and manage invoicing and accounts receivable processes, ensuring prompt payment collection and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Assist in purchasing and forecasting, to ensure accurate ordering, inventory replenishment, and cost-effective procurement.
• Manage expenses and payments, ensuring accurate recording and timely payment processing.
• Handle bank management tasks, including reconciliations, monitoring account balances, and resolving discrepancies.
• Generate and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management based on the MIS created.
Required skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 1 year as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong proficiency in Zoho accounting software/ a willingness to quickly learn and become proficient in it.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Remuneration:
The remuneration for this role would be between INR 25-30,000 per month .
