Title: Accountant
Job Location: New Delhi
What we are looking for:
ILO is looking for an experienced accountant to join the team in New Delhi. The ideal candidate should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills. Major responsibilities will include:
• Managing and recording day-to-day transactions in books of accounts, including documenting of all financial transactions in Tally ERP.
• Assist in preparing periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, MIS, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, or any other specific reports.
• Assist in the calculation of all statutory compliances (GST, TDS) and filing of monthly/annual tax returns.
• Liaison with vendors, banks, and other related departments as & when needed.
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Semi-qualified CA will be preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with consulting or service firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) & accounting software (Tally)
