This is a founder-led, fast-growing design-driven business with multi-channel sales (retail, e-commerce, exhibitions, and wholesale).
Deal in premium Indian fashion accessories brand known for handcrafted clutches, bags, and jewelry with strong design aesthetics and artisan craftsmanship.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Accountant to manage end-to-end finance and compliance across all business verticals.
You will own the accounting function, drive financial discipline, and provide real-time insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records across all business lines.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, collections, and vendor reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, cash-flow statements, and financial reports for the owner.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, income-tax, and other statutory compliance and filings.
• Track inventory-linked accounting, product costing, and margin analysis across channels.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment schedules to maintain financial discipline.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning directly with the owner.
• Coordinate with external CA, auditors, and consultants for filings and audits.
• Oversee payroll processing, reimbursements, and expense management.
• Build and improve financial systems, dashboards, and controls to support business growth.
Ideal Candidate
• 4–8+ years experience in accounting/finance
• Experience working in founder-led or SME business preferred
• Retail, fashion, D2C, or product business experience is a strong plus
• Strong knowledge of GST & Indian compliance
• Comfortable working independently (no large team)
• High ownership mindset and confidentiality
• Excellent in Excel and accounting software
